Wherever you put your cable or satellite box or DVD player—even if they’re behind cabinet doors—the Google TV box can control them. It’s equipped with an external infrared blaster (or IR blaster). What’s that? Without getting too technical, it relays the signal from the Google TV remote to devices that only accept infrared signals, like a cable box.
